Mr. Ahmed Al Mansoori, the Chairman of DuExcel, has a BA in Political
Science and Economics from Creighton University in the USA and a Masters
degree in Quality Management from the Australian Wollongong University. Mr.
Al Mansoori then worked in the Department of Economic Development in Dubai
and during the six years he spent in the Department he was in charge of
planning the development of various sectors to support the overall economic
development of the Emirate. He gained the award of Dubai Government’s
Performance Excellence Award for the year 2000 in the category of
Distinguished Government Employee.
At the end of 1999, Ahmed Al Mansoori launched DuExcel, with the vision of
making the company a centre for training excellence and he has successfully
guided the company since its inception.
As well as steering DuExcel, Mr. Al Mansoori is Director General of the
Emirates Institution for Advanced Science and Technology (EIAST). He is also
a board member at Dubai Media Incorporated, the Director General of the
Watani programme for social development and heads the Board of Directors of
Dubai Foundation for Women and Children.
